New Films, New Year: 2025 Update
2025 was a major year of growth for me as a filmmaker. Beyond finishing a new feature-length screenplay and revising several others, one of my biggest goals was to move a project from script to screen and I’m excited to officially share that Not All Men was greenlit and went into production!
Not All Men is a 30-minute dramatic short film about a sex worker who seeks revenge on a client after an unsettling session, forcing her to confront past trauma and the fragile bond with her daughter. This has been a passion project of mine since 2022, and seeing it come to life on set with such an incredible cast and crew has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my career. We are now in post-production with picture lock complete, sound and score underway, and festival submissions starting in early 2026. Huge thanks to the Canada Council for the Arts for supporting the film.
I’m also excited to share that I was recently greenlit for a second short film titled The Last Set, a project that finally lets me explore the world of electronic music, a space I’ve been developing stories around for over a decade. We are currently in early prep, with production planned for late summer/early Fall 2026.
With multiple projects in post and development, 2026 is shaping up to be a busy and creative year, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. More updates, behind-the-scenes looks, and festival news will be coming soon.
