Two Rosie Award Nominations at 2025 Alberta Film & Television Awards

I'm thrilled to share that this year I’ve been nominated for two Rosie Awards at the Alberta Film & Television Awards:

  • Best Director, Documentary Under 30 Minutes – The Choice That Changed Everything: Shea‑Lynn’s Butterfly Effect

  • Best Screenwriter, Documentary Under 30 Minutes – Principles of Resistance: The Gordon Hirabayashi Story

The Rosie Awards are Alberta’s premier accolades for excellence in television and film. I'm honoured to be recognized alongside so many incredible Alberta storytellers. This nomination speaks to the strength, creativity, and impact of our local film scene.

These two nominations are about much more than awards. They represent partnerships; with the subjects who trusted me with their stories, the collaborators and team who brought them to camera, and the communities that listened and engaged.

Big thanks to the Alberta Media Production Industries Association (AMPIA) and the Rosie Awards juries for these nominations, and huge congratulations to all the fellow nominees across the province.
