Official Selection at the Edmonton International Film Festival - The Choice That Changed Everything’

I am thrilled to announce that The Choice That Changed Everything: Shea-Lynn’s Butterfly Effect has been officially selected to screen at the 2025 Edmonton International Film Festival (EIFF), taking place September 25 – October 5, 2025.

This year marks the 39th edition of EIFF, an Oscar® qualifying festival that continues to champion powerful, thought-provoking storytelling from around the globe. As a filmmaker based in Edmonton, it’s a special honour to have this meaningful documentary recognized at my hometown festival, one that’s been instrumental in uplifting Alberta’s film community.

The Choice That Changed Everything tells the emotional true story of Shea-Lynn and the devastating impact one decision can have. It’s a deeply personal project for our team, and we’re grateful to share it on a platform that values stories rooted in community, resilience, and change.

We can’t wait to return to the Edmonton International Film Festival this fall and be part of a lineup that inspires, challenges, and celebrates the power of independent film.
